Finally Rolled Out The Door

< 1 min read

I’ve been trying to get my own website up and running for quite a while now, but between a lack of spare time, endless design concepts and constantly changing the tech I want to use (Static / Vue / WordPress) I always ended up with nothing.

Been trying to perfect my website for so long that it actually prevented me from making it just good. I think Gretchen Rubin describes it aptly when she wrote :

“Instead of pushing yourself to an impossible ‘perfect,’ and therefore getting nowhere, accept ‘good.’ Many things worth doing are worth doing badly.”

So, after months of overpreparing, overthinking, and procrastinating. I’ve finally rolled out the door and hey something is better than nothing.

Perfection is an ideal. But putting out something close to your heart is close enough.

Do you feel the same?
